I've owned the 8/9 and 10/11.
Great reel for the money...the false albacore were not able to blow them up which is as good a test as any.
Cons
...not crazy about the reel foot but who can complain at the price.

Nice drag system, I had the 10/11 and the drag was tough

unfortunatly, the drag is the only tough part on this reel, vrey brittle, and breaks easy
