This is a wonderfully written book hat is very heavy on the history of these wonderful patterns. A great read that will give any reader a great base of knowledge and a step towards tying this style of fly.

I would have liked to see a few more detailed step by steps to go along with the many recipes.

This book is definitely a page turner and keeps the reader interested.
The photography is top notch and the reader can find much inspiration in its pages.
This is one book I wouldn't be without in my library.
Cons
While there aren't all that many step by steps, the ones that are included are very easy to follow and the explanation is clear to understand.
