Pros
This is the first salmon fly book that I bought and the book that many tyers started with. It is a very good souces for materials and most of the techniques used when tying salmon flies.
Cons I think it could have been laid out better than it is. The first instructional in the book is for the Blue Charm, which is a very difficult fly to tie correctly. It should have taken a more systematic approach starting with hairwing flies and working it's way through all the different styles.
