Without a doubt, the Supreme is the finest vise available in today's market. With only one adjustment, you are able to pre-set the amount of pressure necessary to move the vise body. The rock-solid jaws securely hold a full range of hooks. Velvety-smooth vise rotation allows the fly to be rotated for trimming, cementing, or just viewing. Rotation is so smooth that many tiers use the Supreme as a rotary vise. The "rotary lock screw" secures the vise from rotation in any position. It also serves to set "drag" on the rotary feature. This vise is available in either clamp or pedestal base.

Pros
This is one of the steadiest of all vises I have ever owned in 60 years of tying. The machining is perfection itself and the vise switches from standard to rotary in on easy movement. The two sets of jaws handle any and all size of flies to my favorite sizes #20--#26. The base is heavy enough to keep the vise from wobbling or moving and the materials bag is in a perfect location to cathc all the snippets. I have been using mine now for ~ 15 years now.

I love this vise. Quick hook change. Really secure holding power. Weel machined; you can feel the hgih quality every time you switch to a new hook.
