Pros
Bought this vise along with my full-sized Barracuda for a traveler and an extra for the kids to tie on. So far it has stood up very well, and with not one problem to the rigors of a child tying on it. While the trade off between this and it's big brother may be size, knobs from knurled stainless to plastic, and levers being a bit smaller...Please don't let that fool you! Just like my Full size, i've tied from 3/0 to 22's on this as well without one problem.
Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a vice in this price range.

Cons
The rotary handle should be off-set to aid in turning functions.

Pros
I purchased this vise 16 months ago; it is my first rotary. After tying on several vises at different fly shops, I found the barracuda Trekker was the best fit for my hands. The larger size of the frame enable you to wrap your hands around the vise with out feeling like your fingers are in the way of your tying space. It is heavy, stable and holds a hook like a vise grip. I have tied 1/0 to 32 without a problem. The grooves in the jaws are great for larger hooks (12 and up). The moving functions are smooth, and allow for easy adjustment.

Cons
I wish they would replace the adjustment screw (currently an allen screw) with a thumb screw for the bobbin holder. One less step when making an adjustment.

Pros
I was just about to purchase a Renzetti; then asked a friend what he recomended. He owned the cuda-jr and told me he loved it. Took a second look at the cuda-jr and bought one (pedestal). I am so glad I did. Very solid construction and smooth operation. The jaws hold very well too. It really is a joy to use and too look at. Most likely will never need another vise.

Cons
The bobin holder sometimes gets in the way and is cumbersom to adjust.
